Fishing

We are located in an ideal location with many areas near by to fish.  Just up the road is Fish River Reservoir, which is known for its trout fishing.  We are less than 20 minutes from the world renown Salmon River/Reservoir.  Located around Knotting Pine cabin are many ponds and streams that offer a wide variety of fish.  Click on the links below to view some pictures of near by areas to fish.

• Whetstone Reservoir
  Stocked with Tiger Muskie

• Oneida Lake
  One of the Nations top Walleye producers.  Five to ten pound fish are frequently caught.  Yellow Perch is a very common catch.  Ice fishing is also popular on Oneida Lake.  During the winter months, guided ice fishing tours are available.

• Mohawk River
  Many Large-Mouth Bass

• Delta Lake
  Known for trophy size Northern Pike

• Salmon River/Reservoir
  Very popular for Salmon fishing
